I'll speak of one in particular Randy Jackson (American Idol) and his wife are getting a divorce and she is due to get HALF of his earnings which is 40 million. There was no pre-nup. The opinions from all the pages I have read thus far is split down the middle all the women saying she deserves HALF and most of the men saying hell NO! There were a ton of opinions.  Some of the comments I've read women are saying she was with him for 20 years she deserves it and some feel like he put in the work she doesn't deserve half.  Leave your comments below.

So, I kept seeing a bunch of different challenges on my Facebook and I decided I wanted to take a different spin on it with my Facebook friends.  I started the 30 day water challenge which basically just means that for 30 days you are to only have water to drink with your meals, etc. (No Alcohol) I figure what a great way for us to discipline ourselves doing something good for our bodies. Grab a few friends and challenge them to do this.  Drink up and check in periodically and let me know how it's going.  

By now we have all heard or know what happened to Ray Rice. I decided to have a conversation with some of the folks on my Facebook about what happened so I can get the different views and opinions about what their thoughts were on the incident.  There is more to this situation than what we the public have viewed.  There are many questions that we all have.  Has this happened before? Was this an isolated incident? Ray Rice's wife spoke out about how she felt about what has happened to her family blaming the media for all that they are going through and defending her husband.  For all we know maybe this woman has been beat down mentally and this is why she is defending her husband or maybe not.  Keep in mind she still married him after the fight.  What we all saw that captured our attention was the punch he dealt her that left her unconscious. In today's era where Reality TV has taken over our televisions we see a degrading depiction of the things people would do just to be famous. We now have young men and women looking up to women and men that have not done anything worthy to praise.  Example the Love and Hip Hops of the world, the Joselines, the Stevie J's, the Mimi's.  Speaking of we all know about her "Sex Tape" of Mimi and Nikko that she has claimed was leaked many think it was leaked by both of them and it sort of looks like it.  When you have children you have to put your thirst for fame aside. If indeed she did this it is a despicable act of how low you would stoop for the almighty dollar and fame.  It would be nice to get back to the times when women looked up to people like Maya Angelou that has contributed so much to society instead of a reality star that made it because of their famous rapper boyfriend or athlete.  Some but not many has used the exposure to go on to do other things whether

Some women are so terrified of the scissors that they will walk around with split ends instead of getting their hair trimmed or cut. I was speaking to a friend of mine about why women are so scared of short hair and she said  we've been trained to think that beauty and femininity is attached to hair length in women.  When in reality it all comes from the way you present yourself.  Your attitude and demeanor.  I feel more like a woman with a shaved head than I did with relaxed hair down my back."  She also said it bothers me that people are so defined by length even many of the sisters in the Natural Hair Community.  Another friend said because your hair is part of your personal style and appearance. How you style your hair can indicate whether you are an edgy, conservative, trendy, etc. Cutting or changing it, changes the way you present yourself. What are some of the ways you stay healthy? Share your tips so others can benefit as well.  A lot of times people make excuses for why they can't keep their weight under control.  One of the main things I hear is I'm too busy, I have kids, I can't afford the gym.  There are so many things we can do- walk on our lunch breaks, take the stairs instead of the elevator drink water instead of soda. While sitting watching your favorite program grab some weights and do a few sets of arm curls. Why are people in an uproar over Mark Cuban's statements? ...And why are folks calling Stephen Smith an Uncle Tom? Why do black folks get in such an uproar when another black person does not agree that everything is Racism? We are clear and know for a fact that racism indeed does exist but somethings are what they are (Stephen Smith's comments) I think the part that got most people upset was Mark's reference to stating that he would cross the street if he saw a black kid in a "hoodie" late at night (keep in mind the wounds are still fresh from the Trayvon Martin case) so maybe that wasn't a good reference but remember he also said if it was a white guy with tattoos all over his face and bald he's walking back to the other side of the street.  Mark Cuban was stating his honest true feelings and people should respect the truthfulness of what he stated. So, they can make you millions but your girlfriend should not post a pic with Magic Johnson on her Instagram or bring "black people" to your games. Keep in mind people his girlfriend is Mexican and black. He's upset that she took a picture with Magic Johnson (money or status could never stop racism).  What "Blacks" can do is demand that the Clippers do something about their owner boycott the games or whatever necessary punishment they deem fit. Stand for something or fall for anything! Hit him where it hurts the most "his pockets" we know he'll forever be a racist but why should you profit from the black men you don't want to have anything to do with outside of the game of basketball! As a people we need to stand up and say something when things like this happen. Racism will never go away but when it happens we should not accept it! We have seen several different accounts online as to what  happened and there is never a good reason for someone being shot while mourning the death of their mother and being shot the same day. To make this as short as possible propaganda was only used in war time to get the country behind them.
