How low would you go for 15 minutes of FAME?

In today's era where Reality TV has taken over our televisions we see a degrading depiction of the things people would do just to be famous. We now have young men and women looking up to women and men that have not done anything worthy to praise.  Example the Love and Hip Hops of the world, the Joselines, the Stevie J's, the Mimi's.  Speaking of we all know about her "Sex Tape" of Mimi and Nikko that she has claimed was leaked many think it was leaked by both of them and it sort of looks like it.  When you have children you have to put your thirst for fame aside. If indeed she did this it is a despicable act of how low you would stoop for the almighty dollar and fame.  It would be nice to get back to the times when women looked up to people like Maya Angelou that has contributed so much to society instead of a reality star that made it because of their famous rapper boyfriend or athlete.  Some but not many has used the exposure to go on to do other things whether it's clothing lines and charity work etc. kudos to them!  We are in a generation of lost souls.  How did we get here and how can we change the perception of how we are received by the public? How did we get to a point where we just don't care and booty models are now the norm and what these young women aspire to be.
